rotterdam based practice pasel.künzel architects has recently completed V12K0102, a single family residence
located in leiden, netherlands. positioned on a triangular property in the heart of an emerging urban development,
this elongated dwelling revitalizes this industrial remnant site. approximately 30 meters long, the form tapers along its
length and is arranged around an enclosed open air courtyard. two raised volumes, for the parents and children,
are physically separated and placed on either end of the home. connected with an outdoor elevated walkway,
inhabitants are able to traverse between spaces and regularly experience fresh air.
