American firm Demetriades + Walker Architecture crafted New York’s ‘Boardwalk House’ with an open concept and no formal entry. Set just above the Atlantic Ocean, the home’s living room, kitchen, dressing and pool areas, outdoor shower and roof deck are all organized along an exterior path – dubbed the boardwalk – which ultimately leads to the ocean. Large hurricane-ready windows make way to exposed raw materials and colorful surfaces for a textured interior full of light.
