One day all streetlights will be self-sufficient like these urban pedestrian path lights designed by Hugo Silva.  The lights produce their own power via solar panels to illuminate LEDs all night, and if eco-friendliness wasn't enough, the lights also have a great sculptural quality that makes them even cooler to have on paths and roadways.
