Ludovica and Roberto Palomba have answered the call with their all-weather collection for Driade. Like the ballet pose, the Grand Plié sofa revels in motion and fluidity. In fact, the designers refer to the large piece (W 242 cm x D 145 cm x H 82 cm - Seat H 40 cm), which seats four people comfortably, as an “embrace.” Constructed of polyethylene, the indoor/outdoor suite for Driade takes all of its names from dance—dressage, to be precise, which is the dancing realm of beautiful horses enacting elegant steps. Besides the centerpiece sofa, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba offer Plié chairs and Piaffé tables.
