Ochre Barn Conversion

Rustic Meets Contemporary with Ochre Barn Conversion in London (13)

Completed just a few short years ago in 2010, the Ochre Barn project took an old Norfolk barn transforming it into a stunning single family home that spans just under 4,800 square feet. Transforming the home was no easy task, and set the owners back approximately £300,000 for the complete project.  The building was essentially stripped to a brick shell, and this was used as the new canvas for the dwelling. The team kept many of the original elements in tact as to provide that barn feeling. The old dirt floors were excavated, insulated and laid in polished concrete providing a nice contemporary finish to the residence.
