a chairlift station is first of all a landmark in the wide open spaces of the mountains. the origin and the destination of a ride. so it is natural to see it as a piece of architecture braving the elements. but a lift station is above all a set of engines, rope pulleys and sheaves. a set of machinery which is there to be run, ventilated and maintained like any other drive system, and in addition it is a part of the world of products encompassing the leisure skier. so the station design of the UNI-G is the conclusive answer: a techy cabinet aligned to the track cable, capped by a sporty face.
