new street art

brooklyn based street artist aakash nihalani uses brightly colored tape to create geometric pieces of art.
utilizing fluorescent colors and basic shapes, nihalani only adds, but never changes the space since the nature
of the material causes no damage to the built environment. the playfulness of the concepts allows people to
interact with the graphics as it plays with depth and perspective. some examples suggest what could be there,
temporarily transforming everyday streets into playful possibilities. parts of the city that blend in and typically
go unnoticed become highlighted, reintroducing citizens to their surroundings.
