Designers Torbjørn Anderssen & Espen Voll in collaboration with manufacturer LK Hjelle and the textile gurus at Innofa have created the Eva Swivel Chair and Ottoman. This attractively unassuming pairing of lounge chair and footrest hides a bevy of innovation beneath its lovely contours and seamless upholstery. Speaking of upholstery (and innovations), Eva is the first chair to weave its ergonomic function into its very fabric—and I don’t mean that only in the metaphorical sense. As Anderssen & Voll tell it, “the product joins traditional construction in wood and modern textile technology as the whole outside shape is defined solely by textile.”
