Owners of the St. Jakobus Church building located in Utrecht have taken it upon themselves to protect the vacant historic building by re-using it as their private home.  Still proudly showing its cathedral-esque elements, the church has been given a modern, white-wash face lift which balances nicely with the vaulted ceilings, bare wood floors, and stained glass windows.  Designed by Zecc Architects.
