The problem was to design a residence for a family with four daughters on a peninsula, with panoramic views of both the bay and ocean beyond. The building site was limited to a knoll with access from the north. There was a requirement to separate the parents’ master bedroom suite from the children’s bedrooms and to build a separate garage and boat storage structure.
