THE FLYING CARPET
A low sofa, the starting point of which is a sequence of glued wooden slats. At first sight it does not look like planks, but rather a soft rug, which nestles around itself. At a closer look one sees that the sofa is of wood. This mixture of soft form and a hard material creates a contradiction in terms. The character of the planks changes from being hard and square items to round and soft curves instead, and one’s perception of a plank is put to the test...
There remains to be said only:
”The Flying Carpet leaves at 8 o’clock (Bob Dylan has called and said that we can make it...)”
