House in Leiden // SAMF

This house located in Leiden, NL was originally a 17th century stable and has been altered to accommodate six different houses.  The building's original identity had been lost through the many different transitions but SAMF Architectos' renovation provides the home with a clear order and intent, inside and out.  Leaving the massive wood beams exposed upstairs is a nice touch and reminds the inhabitants of its historic nature.
