The making of a bubble lamp

This is fascinating, to see how our beloved bubble lamps are created. Think of cotton candy machine!

Since their introduction in 1952, the iconic George Nelson Bubble Lamps have been made by hand in rural Michigan. First produced by Howard Miller, Modernica took over 10 years ago resurrecting production in the US and is the official worldwide distributor. The original jigs are still used to bend the wires that make up the intricate frame for the lamps.
