Eco or cowrug?

We had the chance this past weekend to try a cowrug for our dining area where the FLOR modular rug is sitting now... The jury still out on that. The best combo, will be FLOR tiles with the cow pattern.

Solus decor

Solus Decor Inc, a Vancouver, Canada-based firm that designs and manufactures precast concrete home decor products, has been creating fireplace mantels, tiles, site furnishings and custom pieces since 1997. This spring, Solus is launching a new collection of planters, vessels and site furnishings under the banner “Solus Outdoor.” The line is highlighted by an outdoor fire feature called the Hemi Firebowl, and the Grate Bench, a 2007 selection for New York’s Haute Green, “the best in sustainable design for the contemporary home”.
The Outdoor line was created as a response to a dearth in modern four-season outdoor furnishings and is the result of four years of experimentation and refinement. All the pieces in the collection are cast in high performance concrete: formulations that are up to five times stronger and more durable than typical concrete. This state-of-the-art material gives the pieces their uniquely contemporary look and also allows them to withstand harsh Canadian winters without “weathering ugly.” Unlike other materials used for outdoor furniture, high-performance concrete requires no maintenance and is not adversely affected by UV rays and dampness.

Sand+birch OFT transformable home

OFT, transformable house.
The name OFT comes from the word Loft, in which it has been taken out the "L", that has to be meant like the dimension "Large". The OFT is in fact of limited dimensions in its basic composition, but, as well as the loft, it is characterized by spaces adaptable to changeable necessities.
A home that would easily allowed to assemble different pieces and to change them during the time. Adding or subtracting elements, also temporarily.
OFT has been thougtht and projected by Samanta Snidaro, Andrea Fino and Barbara Giroldi.

We've been featured on designaddict.com!

Nelson Clocks - Theme and variations
The variations are a popular exercise in all forms of art, visual as much as musical. In the field of the design, the clocks by George Nelson and the designers from his studio are one of the rare examples of a line of products that seems infinite.

Some brilliant hunters in our Forum decided to gather a maximum documentation about them. As passion doesn't have any limits, they overflowed this initial subject by digging out clocks created by other talented designers.

The contents is so rich that it was divided into different threads... and the quest is not over.

Presenting: The Museum series

The museum series features the work of designers from the '50's with iconic proofs of their work in the furniture area and also in the sculpture/wall art.
Right now, we are featuring the work of Harry Bertoia, Jean Prouve, Charles+Ray Eames and George Nelson with some other designers to be added in the future.

Pricing is the same as the rest of the posters, $35 in the USA and Canada and $50 for the rest of the world and that price includes shipping.

To make this introduction even sweeter, we are offering the 2x1 on these too!
