Kotatsu Work Table

The Kotatsu Work Table was designed as a focal point for collaborative work. A member of Herman Miller's Intersect Portfolio, the table's inspiration is drawn from the traditional Japanese kotatsu, a low family gathering table. Kotatsu’s lower height is conducive to informal, relaxed gatherings and collaborative work. Details such as a large, work surface, lower storage areas for stowing table-top clutter, and protected shelves for keeping work safe from spills cater to the tasks at hand, while the inviting molded plywood design is at home in a variety of office settings.
