Luminous figure - aesthetics of the natural
Light is never constant in the course of a day. The natural sunlight eventually finds its way even through the smallest cracks and gaps, creating an interplay of light and shadow. The naturalness of the light had already been used in the atria of classical antiquity to fascinating effect: the idea had been to skilfully directed beams of light into the interior. The Pipe Terra floor light combines an organic design with the use of innovative materials in order to provide the user with the highest possible degree of light exploitation. With its slim stem-like body, the lamp almost seems to move by itself and resembles a light sculpture in a room. The body of the lamp consists of a highly flexible steel tube covered by a transparent platinic silicone sheath, topped by a conical diffuser.
