The exaggerated, elongated form of the Drift bench has a modulated, fluid language that is characteristic of the
work of Future Systems architects. With this design Amanda Levete, principal architect with Future Systems, has
interpreted the company’s signature style within a piece of furniture design with extreme sculptural properties.
Acentuating form with the ambition of turning a simple object into one with subtle complexities was the aim
here. The Drift bench is constructed from glas reinforced plastic with either a high glos finish or a concrete
skin. Both are suitable for outdoor use.
