The itch for a modern home

Yes, I have it. We are planning on buying a buildable lot closer to where I work (my commute is 100 miles round trip!) even is it's a rural area, as long as I have cable/internet and power (and a decent school district), I don't care.

Rocio Romero is the one that pops on the top of the list:

Realistic prices, modern design, open layout. We'll probably go for concrete floors and combining the LVL150 with the smaller LV150 (the 150 means it's rated for hurricane code)

Considered by lenders as a full regular construction house (try that with a real prefab!)

From planning to delivery in 28 days.

The only downside is that you need to find a trusted contractor. (those two words should never be together!)

Who knows, if the right lot appears soon, maybe we will have to accelerate the process instead of waiting the 5-7 years I had in mind!
